FEATURES OF THE EXPANSION

The 12 storey building designed by architects The Buchan Group will house:

• A luxury hotel featuring 123 suites with interiors designed by Hecker Guthrie Walter Brooke. The suites and villas will range from 50sqm – 230sqm
• Three new signature restaurants
• New casual dining options
• Three new bars including a rooftop bar overlooking the Torrens River
• Function and conference facilities for up to 750 guests
• Wellness centre including pool, sauna, gym and day spa
• 750 car parking spaces

INTEGRATION OF THE HERITAGE LISTED RAILWAY STATION BUILDING

The current Adelaide Casino, housed in the iconic Adelaide Railway Station will be revitalised and restored to improve the layout and experience for customers.

A three storey glass atrium will connect the heritage and new buildings.

The heritage features of the building will be carefully restored to preserve the history.

Current signature restaurants Sean’s Kitchen and Madame Hanoi will join the three new restaurants to offer a wide range of premium dining options.

INVESTMENT

SKYCITY will spend up to $A330 million on the development

EMPLOYMENT

The expansion will create approximately 1000 jobs during construction from 2018 – 2020.

An additional 800 ongoing positions will become available when the construction is complete, taking the total number of Adelaide Casino employees to almost 2000.

TIMING

A contractor will be selected by tender.

Construction will begin in early 2018 following the completion of early works.

The Expansion is expected to be completed in 2020.
