Ocean Reef Medical Centre was established in 1984 to care for individuals and families in the surrounding community. All the permanent doctors at Ocean Reef Medical Centre have been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, which is a hallmark of excellence in general practice. The medical team are committed to a programme of continuing professional development to ensure that our patients receive the latest in evidence based care. We are fully accredited with AGPAL, a voluntary accreditation which assures patients of a high standard of quality which is independently assessed to RACGP standards. We are proud to be a teaching practice involved in training GP registrars who are working towards Fellowship and also teaching UWA medical students. One of our key priorities is the availability of prompt medical attention for our patients when it is most needed, particularly our young patients and elderly, and we will endeavour to offer same day appointments for our registered patients in these situations.
