SeaLink Rottnest Island is a branch of the SeaLink Travel Group based in Western Australia, operating passenger ferry services between Fremantle and Rottnest Island. Services commence in November 2017. Built in 2012 to the latest safety standards, “Quokka 1” is the most modern and high-tech passenger ferry servicing Rottnest Island. The “Enviro-Cat” vessel boasts lower fuel use per passenger than a small four-cylinder car. The hull and machinery package was specifically developed to protect the maritime environment. This makes her one of the most environmentally friendly vessels in Australia. The vessel also features the Humphree active ride control, a high-tech system that automatically adjusts the vessels trim to give the smoothest ride possible with the added benefit of reducing fuel consumption. She is quite literally the Rolls Royce way to get to Rottnest with the whisper quiet Rolls Royce jets effortlessly speeding you towards your island adventure.
