Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Experience and Tours is a one of a kind Authentic Aboriginal Cultural experience in the Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon), Northern Territory. We are an established business operating 10 months of the year. We offer a one hour immerse cultural experience as lived by the local Luritja and Pertame (Southern Aranda) people of the Central Australia region. Our one-hour cultural tour has a wide range of topics covering; • Aboriginal bush medicine use • Plant & Bird Knowledge • Aboriginal Dot Painting • Weapon making (including spears and boomerangs) • Clapping Stick making • Bush tucker gathered seasonally • Organic seeds used for jewellery making. We welcome family groups, students, educational groups, free independent travelers to our tours. Photographs on the tour are welcome but we respectfully inform that filming is not allowed on the tour.
