Generations in Jazz (GIJ) represents a wonderful opportunity to listen, perform, respect, and develop a true appreciation for a truly wonderful sound, and be part of a commitment to furthering jazz in Australia. More than three decades since its inception, GIJ is Mount Gambier's Iconic Jazz Festival. GIJ has developed into a unique combination of clinics & concerts, a 3-day jam session for several thousand school bands from across Australia competing for major awards on varying stages at one unique location.
