The annual Yorkes Classic is one of Australia's most prestigious surfing events, with some of our most talented surfers competing for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. With the best and biggest waves available across the 'Bottom-End' of southern Yorke Peninsula over the October long weekend, the event has grown to become a major sporting attraction for both surfers and spectators alike. Locations, within Innes National Park, will be announced each day, depending on conditions. The Marion Bay Tavern will host the event prize giving and also keep you entertained for the weekend. Entry permits to Innes National Park are available from Yorke Peninsula Visitor Centre website or by calling, Or they can be purchased at the Natural Resource Centre as you enter Innes National Park.
