About Us

Citizen Science Naturewise Weekends at Brookfield Conservation Park are holidays with a Wildlife Focus. If you would love to spend some of your precious time helping scientists to develop a better understanding of our local native Australian wildlife and how to better manage their bushland habitats, then join us for a fun, informative, relaxing weekend wildlife holiday! Our Brookfield Naturewise Weekends usually focus on the Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat although depending on seasonal conditions you may be investigating the Rosenbergs Goanna, Superb Blue Fairy Wren or other native Australian Species. As a volunteer you will learn some of the survey methods under the guidance of field experts and an experienced Conservation Volunteers Australia Team Leader. You will also learn about the history of the park and visit some of the local attractions in the region.
