About Us

This magnificent River Red Gum is one of the largest in the Riverina measuring 11.6 metres in circumference. The Big Tree is a Meeting Place and is considered culturally significant with Traditional Aboriginal owners. The age of the tree is estimated to be between 500 years and 1000 years. As you walk through the area keep an eye out for the diverse range of local wildlife such as kangaroos, emus, goannas, cockatoo’s, kookaburras and Bush Stone curlews just to name a few. Certainly something worth seeing when visiting Moulamein.
