Metricon Stadium is known as the Gold Coast's premier sporting and entertainment arena and home to the city's very own AFL team, the Gold Coast SUNS. Up until June 2018, the Stadium will host the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. The Gold Coast SUNS will return to Metricon Stadium in Round 11, Saturday 2 June. Enjoy all of the action of live AFL plus live music, activities for all ages plus post match kick-to-kick on-field and more! Metricon Stadium is easily accessible by public transport. On Gold Coast SUNS game days, valid ticket or membership holders receive free transport to and from the game on scheduled Translink services plus shuttle buses from Broadbeach South Station, Nerang Station and Boowaggan Park'n'ride.
