Lower Hawkesbury Wesleyan Chapel
About Us
The first church service was held in this charming Wesleyan Chapel in 1855. It is orientated to face the picturesque Hawkesbury River, where the majority of early parishioners would have come from. Tours of the Wesleyan Chapel and services can be arranged and it is also available for social functions. Today Wisemans Ferry, 80 kilometres from Sydney city, is still the site of a ferry service across the Hawkesbury River.
