SpeechNet Speech Pathology has Experienced Speech Therapists that work closely with parents, CCC and schools to ensure your child meets their full potential. We have specific Experience in ALL communication, Learning and Feeding concerns for Infants, Children, Primary School and High School Students. It is never too early OR too late to give your child support to make a real difference in their speech, social skills and learning abilities. We have significant experience in areas including: - speech - unclear speech, dyspraxia, apraxia, prompt, cued articulation, late talkers, lisps, tongue ties, tongue thrust / teeth alignment & swallowing - Language - talking in full sentences, immature speech, understanding words, listening to instructions, listening to teachers, listening in classrooms, re-telling stories, auditory processing issues, poor vocabulary. words mixed up, IQ concern. Late Talkers: slow to speak, 2 year old not talking, 3 year old not talking, 4 year old not talking clearly, 24 months talking less than 50 words and not saying 2 word sentences, 18 months saying less than 20 words, early intervention for know at risk groups for speech delays (Down's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy CP, Fragile x, Hearing impairment, hearing loss, head injury or brain tumors, autism, ADD) Reading and Spelling: Literacy from pre-prep reading eg if they are not rhyming, hearing first sounds in name or words. Groups for early reading & Phonological processing, sound and letter matching, rhyming & writing. Prep students should have first sight word reading skills and them we can assist with reading fluency, reading comprehensions, understanding questions they read and test approach, Essay writing (from C/Ds to A/Bs). Fluency - stuttering, stammering/ bumpy speech. Lidcombe approach and smooth speech. Voice - vocal nodules, croaky / loosing voice eg crying alot Feeding & Fussy Eaters; work with OT for chewing, bottle feeding,breast feeding, food refusal/ won't eat fruits etc
