Dr Iris Wang is a specialist obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist well known for her dedicated and professional approach. Her special interests include reproductive endocrinology such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, anovulation, amenorrhoea, female infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss and menstrual disorders, and she supports patients with a diverse range of fertility and gynaecological concerns at her busy Chatswood practice. She was the first female doctor in NSW to achieve a Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, after obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Sydney. Dr Wang is also a Visiting Medical Officer at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Mater Hospital at North Sydney, and she is involved in regular teaching activities for residents and medical students. She has published papers on menstrual disorders, laparoscopic surgery, gynaecological endocrinology and general gynaecology. Dr Wang has a loyal following of patients, many of whom have returned for fertility assistance or obstetric care in later pregnancies, valuing her sincere, direct and caring nature. She consults at Chatswood and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital's Medical Centre in Newtown.
