Stuart Park Surgery and Darwin After Hours Medical Service is open 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 3pm weekends and public holidays. In mid-year 2015, we were forced to close our weekday evening clinics due to the falling demand for this service. Appointments are required Monday to Friday in the daytime, but not on weekends or public holidays for the after-hours service. We have a womens health / pap smear clinic on alternate Saturdays - appointments required. We aim to provide quality health care at an affordable cost to patients, and now bulk-bill all children 15 years and under, and Commonwealth aged pensioners in receipt of a pension and over the age of 65. Services provided include: Stitching of wounds. Wound dressings / wound care. Skin checks and removal of skin cancers and other skin lesions. Implanon insertion (contraceptive implants for women). Incision and drainage of boils and abscesses. Injections and aspirations of joints. Antenatal shared care. This means we provide antenatal care (check-ups prior to the delivery of your baby) shared with the local hospital or your specialist, who will conduct the actual delivery of your baby. Travel advice and basic vaccinations / immunisations. Flu Vaccinations for the elderly and those at risk. We offer on-site vaccinations for company staff if required. Workers compensation cases. Pre-employment Medical Examinations. Health Assessments / Health Checks / Preventative Health Checks. Blood Pressure checks, Blood sugar levels checked. ECG (Electrocardiography - a heart check). Audiometry (Hearing Test). Spirometry (Lung Function Test). Urine Drug Screening. Ear syringing.
