Latrobe Regional Hospital
About Us
LRH offers a suite of medical and specialty services for a population of more than 260,000 in the Gippsland region in southeast Victoria. We provide emergency care, elective surgery, maternity, aged care, rehabilitation, pharmacy and mental health services both at the hospital and sites across the Gippsland region. Medical and radiation oncology is provided by the Gippsland Cancer Care Centre at LRH. Our hospital treats about 130,000 people every year with more than a quarter of them seen by our busy Emergency Department. LRH has 289 beds and treatment chairs and is a teaching hospital closely affiliated with Monash University?s School of Rural Health and Federation University. We actively participate in undergraduate teaching. As one of Gippsland?s largest employers, we provide fantastic job opportunities not just in clinical and medical professions, but administration, catering and cleaning.
