Kimberley Forest Trail
About Us
A visit to the park in the cool hours of the early mornings and evenings will reward you with sightings of swamp and red-necked wallabies grazing on the grassy slopes. The park's rainforest gully provides a cool, moist environment with rock pools fed by permanent springs. Palms, ferns and rainforest trees thrive in the damp conditions. The permanent water and diverse plant communities attract a variety of birds not usually found in the City of Logan. Rainforest birds such as the noisy pitta and eastern yellow robin help make the numbers of birds that call this park home and make it such a wonderful experience.
