Haigh's Chocolates Visitor Centre
About Us
At Haigh's Chocolates Visitor Centre you can enjoy special chocolate tastings, see chocolates being made and discover the heritage behind Haigh's, Australia's oldest chocolate manufacturer, where chocolate is handmade. Established in 1915, Haigh's is now in its fourth generation. The family-owned company makes more than 250 products at its Parkside factory five minutes drive from Adelaide city centre. Take a free guided viewing tour to learn the history of Haigh's and how they make premium quality chocolate from cocoa beans sourced from plantations around the world. See displays of original chocolate packaging, old machinery and early photographs. Special displays include Cooks Corner for gourmet products, chocolate sauce and chocolate couverture with free recipes. There's free coffee or tea while you select from Haigh's extensive range. Tours run for approximately 20 minutes. Please contact the Visitor Centre for tour times and to make a booking, which is essential. Factory is not fully operational on Saturday. The tour is mainly verbal with a video showing the making of chocolate. Disabled access to shop facilities only.
