Over 30 remarkable years of hat-making, Rosie has perfected her extensive repertoire of millinery skills and her subtle understanding of what makes a good hat. Rosie offers a ready-to-wear range of men’s and women’s casual contemporary headwear, now available online at Hats by Rosie Boylan. Rosie also offers clients visiting her Newtown store a uniquely personal fitting and styling service and range of customisable features in her ready to wear styles. Collaborating with feature film Oscar-winning costume designers, Rosie has created iconic bespoke headwear for principals and featured characters in The Great Gatsby, Moulin Rouge, Australia, The Piano, and Peter Pan. Major bespoke stage credits include The King and I, Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies; for television The Secret River, A Place to Call Home and Banished; and bespoke fashion collaborations with Australian designers including sass and bide, RM Williams, Camilla Franks and Macgraw.
