Kuju Aborignal Arts
About Us
Home to the Giant Gulda (Sleepy Lizard), Kuju Aborignal Arts is an Aboriginal owned workshop and gallery. The air conditioned facility showcases local aboriginal art and craft including silk paintings, acrylic on canvas paintings, jewellery, bush medicines, wood artefacts, painted and carved emu and ostrich eggs, souvenir pieces and more. All works can be purchased. A high percentage of the sale goes directly back to the artist, the remaining is returned to Kuju Aborignal Arts. Tour groups, school workshops and visits are encouraged by prior arrangement promoting indigenous culture and an understanding of Aboriginal art. Tours can also be arranged of the Mallee Park facilities including the Youth Shed, Gidja Club and Mallee Park Football Clubrooms. A conference room and catering can be provided at the Port Lincoln Aboriginal Community Council (PLACC) on Ravendale Road situated alongside Kuju Arts and Crafts.
