Ridgeline Pottery is a contemporary self-contained apartment, which is a private space in the northern end of the home of artist potter Ben Richardson and his partner Peta. The steel framed and glass home was designed by award winning architect James Jones. In a stunning coastal setting at Sandford, it overlooks Pipeclay Lagoon and Clifton Beach. The self-contained apartment styled two-bedroom accommodation offers a modern stainless steel kitchen opening onto a private deck with beautiful coastal views. Each bedroom offers luxury king sized beds with goose down doonas. Either room can be reconfigured to suit families or groups including two couples, parents with children or four singles. Ben Richardson is an award-winning potter. You can eat from his handmade tableware in your kitchen, visit the showroom attached to the pottery and see his amazing wood-fired kilns as well as watching him work. You can be a part of this art based life. Being close to Hobart means Ridgeline makes a great base for many day trips but mostly it's a fantastic place to relax. It's close to everything but with a feeling of being in a rural costal setting.
