Located just two hours from Sydney's North Shore in the upper Hunter region, near Vacy between Maitland and the Barrington Tops. The Retreat Bushland Lodge is a privately let lodge within the Eaglereach Wilderness Resort, a well-established bush resort. Lodge has billiards, table tennis, pushbikes, kayaks, movies and huge library. With wallabies by the veranda, clear mountain air and barely a building in sight, the house in the bush feels miles away from the rest of the world. But not too far away, so it's perfect for weekend getaways and self-catering holidays. Go bush without roughing it.
