About Us

Amaroo Cottage Farmstay is located 32 kilometres south of Bathurst. Amaroo is a 190 acre farm, with sheep and cattle, located in a quite corner of the Central Tablelands. You will experience daily life on a working farm. This is not a staged farm with a petting zoo. This is how farming really is. Join in the daily activities, watch what may be occurring or just relax on the veranda with a book and a glass of wine enjoying the extensive views of the area and native fauna and flora. Free....Free...Free...All children under 16 years of age are free to stay as we don't charge any additional fees for children to stay at the farmstay with their parents. We want families to enjoy a visit to the farm, enjoy the visit and return, without tariffs being prohibitive.
