Lake Glenbawn Holiday Cottages is set on 22 grassy acres and located directly opposite the entrance to Glenbawn Dam. This is an ideal destination for families and reunions, as well as workers who want something more than a motel room. They are approximately 14 kilometres from Scone/Aberdeen, within close proximity to major thoroughbred horse studs including Darley, Arrowfield, Kia Ora and Segenhoe. All guests have free entry to Lake Glenbawn State Park (swipe card) which comes with cottage keys. Fishing is probably the best and most scenic here at Lake Glenbawn with this lake being accepted as as one of the best in the state for Bass and Golden Perch. Waterskiing has become more popular and is recognised as having uncrowded and smooth water with a large two lane boat ramp. Kangaroos and other native wildlife roam freely around the property, so they are unable to allow pets.
