Simpsons is an intimate 12 room boutique hotel, situated within a restored 1892 Victorian mansion, and is centrally located in leafy tree-lined Potts Point, a vibrant and cosmopolitan area, being the closest suburb east of the City, with many interesting restaurants, bars, galleries and cafes nearby, yet only a 15 minute walk to the nightlife, bars and clubs of Oxford Street. Best of all it is just a pleasant 30 minute stroll along the waterfront and through the Domain Park into the City, or via the beautiful Botanic Gardens to the Opera House, the historic colonial Rocks area, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Circular Quay Harbour ferries to Taronga Zoo, Manly Beach and to the Darling Harbour Aquarium and Chinatown. The NSW Art Gallery, State Library, Parliament House, St. Mary's Cathedral, Australian Museum, Historic Government House are all within easy walking distance.
