Step back in time & take modern day comfort with you. Cambridge House is Geeveston's historic home, built in 1870 by the town's founder John Geeves. These days the setting for ABC"s "Rosehaven"! We have 5 rooms both downstairs & up, all with bathrooms, heating, tea & coffee making, TV's & electric blankets. We have doubles, twins & one triple room, a large guest lounge & a big garden, complete with our own resident platypus family. Your own front door key & entrance ensures privacy & there are no shared areas with your hosts. We include in the tariff full cooked breakfasts served in our dining room. Plenty of off street parking & free Wifi. We are less than an hour from Hobart in the centre of the Huon Valley, the closest accommodation to the Tahune Airwalk & an ideal base for exploring the Hastings Caves, Hartz Mtn & Southwest Nat. Parks, & Cockle Creek - which is as far south in Australia as you can drive!
