The Function Centre, which has been Shangri La Gardens traditional business for the last 65 years and a 41 room, boutique motel as well as Sylvia’s Restaurant and Wine Bar. All motel rooms feature king or queen beds with luxurious bed linen, bathrooms with shower or bathtub, air conditioning, sofa bed, widescreen television, tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, opening windows, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, additional sink, free internet access via both wi-fi and Ethernet, desk, swimming pool and free parking. Connecting rooms are available, ideal for families and groups. Sylvia's restaurant chefs bring you a seasonally varied menu showcasing the best and freshest locally available produce. In addition Sylvia's offers an extensive range of beers, wines and spirits. Shangri La Gardens function centre offers five separate event spaces to cater for all types of corporate meetings, conferences and business events. From a small boardroom space for that all important strategic planning meeting to a conference or a wedding for 300 or more they have the space to suit you. Shangri La Gardens is situated in Wynnum West on Brisbane's Bayside and is proudly a part of the Clem Jones Group.
