Alpana is a working Merino sheep property that has been in the Henery family for six generations since 1878 and opened up to tourism twenty-five years ago in 1994. The property is very scenic and includes some of the majestic Heysen, ABC and Trezona Ranges, gum-lined creeks, pine filled valleys, natural springs and hidden geological gems. Alpana is a haven for birds and wildlife with a good diversity of plant life and wildflowers in the winter and spring. Alpana offers a range of accommodation from camping to Ensuite powered sites to self-contained shearers quarters and bush retreat hut.
