Williams River Holiday Park is a camping spot right on the river. This is a peaceful setting and the natural landscape is very beautiful. Also situated at the park are on site, air-conditioned cabins catering for up to six persons. There are powered and non-powered campsites and access for RVs up to 10 metres in length, a waste dump point, and access for swimming and fishing in the fresh water of the Williams River. The park features modern amenities, with a guest laundry, barbecue area and adjoining reserve where the children can play. They are situated at Clarence Town on the Williams River in the Hunter Valley just north of Newcastle (45 minutes) and 2.5 driving hours north of Sydney. From Clarence Town it is 49 kilometres to Chichester Dam, and 22 kilometres to Dungog.
