Mount Ophir Estate, a unique and exclusive property in the rural district of Rutherglen in northern Victoria, Australia. Boasting 360-degree views of the surrounding area, including the Murray River Basin and the Snowy Mountains to the east. A stylish country residence located on the doorstep of one of the regions most iconic and architecturally significant buildings, Mount Ophir Estate. The original residence of the estate accommodates ten people in five bedrooms, a spacious country kitchen, dining room for ten and a large living area. The beautiful wooden veranda wraps around the house which is the perfect setting for evening drinks. All rooms are stylishly decorated with comfort and relaxation in mind. Mount Ophir Estate’s philosophy is to be gentle on the environment and look after the earth. Organic farm management is used on established plantings of low yielding and high-quality vineyard on fine clay loam of Shiraz, Durif (a famous regional variety) and Brown Muscat. It is also an organic working farm with many animals, including sheep, geese and peacocks.
