About Us

Birrigai is an outdoor education and group accommodation centre located right on Tidbinbilla and Namadgi National Park's doorstep. The complex is surrounded by native Australian bushland, with an abundance of wildlife freely roaming the grounds. Birrigai can accommodate up to 188, making it perfect for small or large groups. We have three separate cabins featuring comfy dormitory style rooms with shared bathrooms, and separate leader's rooms with ensuite facilities. Other facilities available for hire include; • a state-of the-art theatre, • Conference room, • spacious hall seating 150 and, • A covered barbeque area and kitchen for self-catering. Birrigai can provide a full catering service, offering a selection of fresh nutritious meals cooked by qualified Chefs. Birrigai is a 40 minute drive from Canberra's city centre with access points from Canberra, Cotter Road or Point Hut Crossing.
