World Surfaris Sea Monkey Eco Tours
About Us
Nature is a playground! Bask in her beauty, delight in her sounds, play in her oceans, swing in her trees. And always treat her with respect. We believe the magic of Australia is in its sandy beaches, iconic coastline and natural beauty. In its carefree attitudes and no worries. Sandals and board shorts everyday of the year. It’s a lifestyle, a choice to live life to the fullest and have fun everyday. Sea Monkey is all about the local experience. An initiative of World Surfaris, Sea Monkey Surf and Eco Tours is their first step into local tourism. After over 20 years in sending people to the best surf destinations around the world, World Surfaris is now providing tours to experience the world class surf and natural wonders that are on our own doorstep. When you find yourself visiting a new place, it’s easy to miss the best parts simply because you don’t know they’re there—or you don’t have the right vehicles or equipment to get there—or you get lost without reception in a mud-pit in the rainforest, and then what? As travellers ourselves who look for local experiences, we understand such woes and want to help you get in on the behind the scenes action. Join us to experience the beauty of a place like the locals do, and walk away feeling like you understand the place, the people and the culture. Hop in and let a local take you on an off-roading adventure exploring some of the best-kept secrets in Queensland! You’ll experience the region’s top natural attractions from the oldest sand-growing Rainforest, one of the worlds most complete coastal dune systems, one of the first lighthouses on the east coast, and tea-tree infused creeks and lakes that will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. You’ll learn about the rich cultural heritage, ecology and geology of the region, and get a personal introduction to the famous coloured sands that gave Rainbow Beach her name. Sea Monkey holds permits to many local hot spots, as well as one of the few permits to visit the top of Double Island Point headland, where marine life such as manta rays, dolphins, turtles and whales are commonly spotted. It will be at least 10 times more fun than that sunburn you’ll get lying on the beach all day 😉 Plus– you get lunch, laughs and a lot of great memories.
